Many people assume that outdoor battery lights will run out quickly at Christmas, leaving their gardens in darkness once again. Obviously the lifespan will depend heavily on the batteries used, but with many lights now featuring timers, battery Christmas lights can last for the full season with a good set of batteries installed. Of course, performance and longevity will still be better using mains power, but where this is not an option, battery powered outdoor Christmas lights now offer a viable alternative.
