Indoor Festoon Lights

Indoor festoon lights look particularly effective against exposed brick and in modern homes.

Try them alongside things like light boxes although they can of course be used in more traditional environments too. Festoon lights have traditionally been used outdoors, but are an increasingly popular interior design tool for the modern home.

Indoor Festoon Lights on Exposed Brick

One of the more recent interior design fashions is the use of exposed brick. This has become almost synonymous with festoon lights, with the large illuminated bulbs creating a lovely contrast with the brick walls.Of course festoon lighting indoors isn't just restricted to those of us fortunate enough to have exposed brick, they're also great against white or black walls for instance. Generally coming in either white or black cable, the contrast of the wire against the wall is key here - no need to try and hide the wires, it's all part of the effect.
