About Us

The Year was 1999...

Festive Lights Ltd is now a name recognised internationally, with customers around the globe visiting our website in order to purchase not just Christmas lights and decorations, but lights for the house and garden too. We first opened our doors in 1999, just in time for the millennium but at that time there was no website, just a physical store located in Charnock Richard, Lancashire. We still operate from that same location today, though the shop has since moved.

Lights for Everyone...

Since that first year in ’99, we have grown our product offering and with it our customer base, year upon year. We quickly became the place to go for Christmas lighting enthusiasts and in 2002 we also began to offer products to wholesalers, garden centres and other commercial customers. We still supply companies and even town and city councils across the UK, as well as the rest of the world, with commercial quality lights for displays of all sizes. We’ve even supplied lights for a number of your favourite TV shows like Britain’s Got Talent and the X Factor.

Unrivalled Choice...

It was only in 2004 that we launched our website, here at www.festive-lights.com, since which time it has become our mission to make buying lights online as easy as possible, whilst still offering the type of expert guidance that we became known for at our store. The majority of our sales now come through the website, but we do still operate a store in Wigan and have online stores on eBay and Amazon.

Expert Advice...

We are constantly innovating and looking for ways in which we can help to make shopping with us an easier and more pleasant experience, and in 2013 this meant a complete redesign of our website. Our site has in fact been continually updated over the years, not just with new products and ranges, but with videos and guides that are all intended not just to sell, but to educate and inform.

We want you to enjoy a personalised shopping experience with us, and we want you to talk to us too, which is why we maintain a presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and even G+, and post regularly on our blog. We’d love to hear any feedback you have for us, as it is you, the customers that continue to motivate us to be the best.
