Some people are critical of the commercialism of Halloween, but the association with witches and ghosts has not been invented by some marketing bigwig somewhere and does actually stem from an ancient Celtic festival. Of course back then they lit fires, whereas now we have plenty of LED Halloween lights that will suffice. The temptation is to write that Halloween lights encompass all the colours of the rainbow, but usually Halloween is associated with a specific range of colours – often purple, green, orange, black and white. Other colours are of course available, but these ones in particular offer a haunting glow fit for your 31st October parties.
