Where to use your rope light
So today we’re talking about rope light; for some reason, it’s a product we don’t talk about much but it’s much loved by lots of our customers. So if you’ve always been intrigued by this product, but were never quite sure how to use it, then why not keep scrolling? We’ve collected together some of our favourite ways to use rope light and some of the ways our customers like to use theirs, both inside and outside.
Indoor inspiration
You could easily mistake rope light for an outdoor product as you might have only seen it used outdoor or in a commercial setting, but you’d be wrong. Rope light looks great in your home because of its diversity; it’s a great product to use to accentuate different areas of your home, whether it’s carefully placed around your kitchen cupboards, or simply left under your sofa to add a fun glow. The possibilities really are endless, we’ve even used it for DIYs, as once you’ve added a little heat to the rope you really can bend it into any shape you like.
Outdoor inspiration
We love using rope light outdoors, as it’s so hard-wearing, its strong plastic coating means it can withstand even the harshest conditions the British weather can throw at it. It’s great for adding light and definition to flower beds, but we really love to use it as a faux-fire inside chimineas and out of use fire pits.
