At Festive Lights we believe that we have a responsibility to bring joy, not just through lighting up people's homes and gardens but by serving the wider community. We are successful when we're having a positive impact on people, the community and the environment. That's not to say that we're perfect (we're not) but we aspire to be not just the best decorative lighting provider on the planet but a positive force for good too.
The Environment
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and have already taken many steps on our 'green journey', from simple things such as installing compost stations at our warehouse facility and choosing partners who share our commitment to protecting the planet, to even more impactful changes such as completely changing our packaging to ensure it's fully recyclable. Octopus EV Salary Sacrifice Scheme
In July 2024, Festive Lights amped up their green game by hopping on board the Octopus electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme! Now, employees can zoom around in shiny new electric cars without burning a hole in their pockets. This innovative scheme is not just a win for the team’s wallets but also for Mother Earth, as it helps slash emissions. It's a bright idea that's lighting the way to a cleaner, greener future for everyone!
Our Ethics
Every staff member at Festive Lights is valued as an individual. We recognise that everyone is different and we want to make working here as fun and as positive an experience as possible. That's why we embrace individuality with a casual dress code and support the environment and our team members with a cycle-to-work scheme. We also understand that work can sometimes be stressful and so we offer free monthly yoga sessions to all team members to help them relax, unwind and stay fit and healthy in body and soul.
