As predicted, sustainable living is expected to be a big trend this year, and embracing the beauty and simplicity of nature within the home can go a long, long way when it comes to creating a warm welcome.
As well as adding layers and textures to your setting, studies suggest that houseplants can boost moods, increase creativity, and reduce stress, resulting in a healthier, happier you. What’s not to love? We’ve opted for a range of foliage, from towering trees encapsulated in the soft glimmer of wire lights, to individual potted plants to create this clean, yet welcoming escape.
It wouldn’t be Festive Lights if we didn’t finish off with a flourish in the form of a light or two, would it? These striking twig lights are the perfect combination of stripped back decorative aesthetic and a homely, ambient atmosphere, meaning they slip seamlessly into our toasty retreat. If you’re not able to get your hands on real life foliage, not to worry, these stylish olive branches are a perfect alternative – the soft sage green colour palette matches most décor styles, and the subtle warm white LEDs effortlessly shine amongst the faux flora.
Enlightening Spaces
Just because Christmas is over, it doesn’t mean all the decorations have to be stowed away for 12 months. We’ve incorporated not one, but two glimmering star silhouettes within this cosy nook, and we simply adore them. The smaller ConnectGo wire star is the perfect addition to our stylish shelves, while the larger dewdrop 3D star is a bright focal point when you initially enter the room. Speaking of focal points, why stop with one eye-catching feature? We’ve added a robust light-up circus letter and two striking Alta lanterns to round off our rustic, country retreat aesthetic.
Candles, Candles and More Candles
Picture the scene: it’s a blustery day, the pitter-patter of rainfall fills the room as you snuggle deep beneath a thick, woollen throw while flickering candlelight encapsulates the room. Sounds nice, right?
We’ve combined a selection of our exclusive Ember Candles™ with our small authentic flame Chapel candles throughout the snug to create a comfy, warming embrace. Layering the different sizes and styles of the battery-powered LED candles is a great way to surround your room with soft, mellow light – which makes it the perfect setting to kick back with a good book, or enjoy a good old fashioned afternoon nap.
