5 different ways to use firefly wire fairy lights
With prices starting from as little as £2.49, it’s no surprise that firefly wire lights are one of our most popular products. Of course, it’s not just the price that makes them appealing; these delicate, versatile little lights can be twisted, turned and manipulated to suit a number of unique and beautiful purposes.
We’ve got plenty of different firefly lights to choose from so you shouldn’t be short of ideas, but just in case you are we’ve got together a selection of our favorite wire lights and 5 amazing ways to use them!
1. Bright backdrops
Now, you might be thinking that curtains belong in a window, but we’re here to tell you that we’ve found countless ways to use our curtain lights, from wedding backdrops and party lighting to replacing boring headboards. We’re pretty confident that, given the chance, you could find even more ways to use them around your home.
2. Glow while you grow
So you might not regularly find yourself looking at your plants and thinking, “these could really use some lights” but trust us, they could. We love the way outdoor wire lights bring just enough attention to your plants without overpowering the foliage, or looking too Christmassy. This also works great for indoor plants!
3. Twinkling text
Whatever we want to say, we always prefer to say it in lights, although this look seems very intricate it’s actually really easy to recreate with just some imagination and strategically placed drawing pins.
4. Battery powered blaze
Creating a faux fire using fairy lights is something we’re constantly asked about and our main tip is to always use wire lights; not only are they perfect for moulding around and between logs, but their delicate micro LEDs perfectly mimic the look of fiery embers.
5. Pretty preserves
Now, we have covered this a few times before, but if you’re anything like us then you’ll find the idea of filling your old jars with lights much more interesting than filling them with homemade jam. You don’t have to stop at jars, we love putting wire lights in anything made from glass, from old wine bottles to these stylish bell jars.
