Friday 9^th May was one to remember! Our team took a trip over to Liverpool’s iconic Titanic Hotel and Spa to fly the flag for Festive Lights at this year’s North West Family Business Awards, hosted by The Family Business Community.

The Family Business Awards celebrates everything there is to know and love about being a family business in the North West. Regardless of shape, size, or sector, these awards shine a well-deserved spotlight on those families and the teams that help to keep the region booming. 

The black-tie event was a fantastic opportunity to meet inspirational business leads face-to-face, sharing our ideas, excitement and our passion for bringing the joys of being a family-run business to the forefront. We were shortlisted for the Retail Innovators award, which champions e-tail and retail businesses, and we’re over the moon to announce that we took home the gold!

This award recognises the family businesses who spearhead the e-tail and retail sector. Be it online or a physical store, these families show a resilience to tackle the ever changing economic and social challenges head-on. Our team donned their glad rags and had an incredible time, celebrating in styling and partying the night well into the early hours.

The judges said, “Festive Lights has a clear focus on what drives success from product development to strong financial insight. Their warm, inclusive culture and attention to detail shines a light through everything they do, creating a loyal, engaged team. Innovation is embedded at every level, pushing boundaries and positioning them to disrupt established markets.”

Congratulations to all the winners on the night. We, for one, are immensely proud to have been recognised in these prestigious awards and are ready to shout it out from the roof tops – we’re North West Family Business Award winners!
