Tips for the Perfect Xmas Tree, with Dee Campling
This Christmas we have sought expert advice from interior stylist and Instagrammer, Dee Campling to give us her tips and tricks for a stress free, fabulous, Christmas! Over the next few weeks we will be posting a series of videos and blogs jam packed with everything you need to know to get into the festive spirit; everything from DIY tips, decorating hacks and nifty storage ideas! Without further ado, the first part of this series is all about creating “the perfect Christmas tree” so please keep reading:

First up is what we believe to be our most important Christmas tip: fluffing your artificial tree! As your tree has been in storage for the year it will most definitely need a little zhoozh to look fabulous again. It’s worth spending the time making sure every branch is evenly spread and fluffed out before you start decorating. It will make your tree look more realistic and fill out any gaps that you may have, and is super important for the overall look of the tree once you have added the decorations.

A Christmas tree just isn’t complete without being adorned with Christmas tree lights. Watch the video below to see one of our top tips for getting a full and even coverage of lights throughout your tree. They can be wrapped around, weaving in and out between the foliage and decorations or they can be used to decorate around the base of the tree. So, whether you prefer traditional white or warm white lights, or an explosion of colour, we have something for you.
