  • Q:Can you leave solar lights out in winter?

    A:

    UK homeowners will be delighted that our outdoor lanterns and other solar lights are waterproof. This means that they will survive the bouts of snow and rain that characterise an English winter.

    However, you might find that your solar lanterns are dimmer or do not turn on at all during months of limited sunlight. This is because they have less chance to charge than in other seasons.

    Switching off solar lights during the day will help the batteries charge faster for improved evening performance. Alternatively, if you're not using your outdoor space during the winter, store your solar lanterns inside to give the battery a break and avoid the chances of damage.
