How to Order
Festive-lights.com has one of the largest ranges of Festive, Christmas and summer lighting available accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We hope that you’ll find using our website quick and convenient.
These four points below will help make your shopping experience even easier.
- Home page: You can return to our home page at any time by clicking on the home page link which appears in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
- Category bar: This is located at the top of the page and contains main categories and sub categories. Clicking on one of these sub categories will take you to the appropriate product page.
- Search box: The search box is always at the top of every page in the middle of the blue bar. You can search by key words such as the product type, or the product code.
- Your basket: The number of items in your basket can always be seen at the top right hand side of the screen. To see what you have in your basket you can click the “MY BASKET” link. In your basket it will show the product description, quantity, price, total and the option to remove any item(s). Below product details your basket will show you the item(s) subtotal and will then give you an option to choose your delivery location, after you have selected your location the basket will then display the total delivery cost below.
Our Search facility works by checking your search term against all the product titles and product codes currently on the website. It then shows products on the page that may match your query.
You can search in broad terms like trees, or be more specific and use led tree or 6ft artificial tree. A generic term for example, lights may return far too many results for you to sift through; however, if you insert icicle lights, the results will be more refined. The best results can be achieved by searching for a product code, which you may have obtained from our packaging or by visiting our store.
The most efficient way to pay is by credit or debit card. The cards accepted are as follows:
mastercard, visa, visa debit, visa electron, maestro, jcb and solo. (The cards types or names may change over time – please see payment page when checking out)
We also accept cheque or postal orders which can be sent to our head office address (see contact us)
BACS and direct Bank transfers are accepted, please call 01257 792111 for details.
Credit and debit card payments are only deducted once the item(s) ordered are confirmed to be in stock. We try our best to do this on the day of dispatch. Payments by cheque or postal order will be processed upon receipt and goods will only be despatched when full payment has cleared.
Placing Your Order
Once you've found the items you’d like to buy and have added them to your basket, you can begin the checkout process by clicking on the “MY BASKET” link at the top right of your screen.
- Once you have checked you have the correct item(s) in the basket please click the ‘proceed to checkout’ button to pay for your goods or checkout by PayPal. During the checkout process you can opt to register your details for an account, which saves checkout time in the future. (Please note that this does not include your payment card details). You will be asked to set up a password to access your account.
- If you have already registered online with Festive Lights, simply enter your email address and password.
The next stage of the checkout process is our simple one page checkout. Simply enter your 'billing address', if required you can then enter an alternative 'delivery address' followed by your payment method and payment details.
Festive Lights has no access to your details as this is all handled by Sage Pay. When your order is completed you will be sent a confirmation email to the address you provided in the checkout process.
