Product Description

To start using the low voltage connectable lights system you need a power pack.

This small power pack (FL-1587) green cable will power up to a maximum of 480 LED's

The pack includes a transformer, multi function controller and 10 metre green lead cable.

There is 1 metre lead cable from transformer to the controller and a further 9 metres from the controller to the connector where the lights attach.

The memory controller has 8 functions including Static, Chasing and slow fade.

This small power pack is also available in White cable FL-1383. Please see accessories, top right of this page.

Do you wish to connect more than 480 LEDs, then we have a Large power pack which will power upto 3000 LEDs. Please see accessories, top right of this page.

Notes:

The 24v transformer must be kept in a waterproof environment.

Good power pack, lights can be seen to flicker very slightly (almost un noticeable)
overall it is good and does the job perfectly,considering this is a reasonably priced item.

Connectable Nets

Very impressed with the speedy service. The first order even informed me within the hour what time my lights would arrive.
Also impressed with the quality of the product after being weary of cheap off the shelf lights in the past. It was a huge investment but well worthwhile.
I love the concept of the connectable nets and not having a pile of plugs vying for socket space.
Would recommend to anyone willing to pay a little more for a value product.

ANSWERS

hi paul, thanks for your question. as long as these are both part of the low voltage plastic cable range this shouldn't be a problem! the quickest way to tell is too look at both the string and net like product pages, the related items column at the top shows the required power pack, if this matches on both you can do this. i hope this helps in your decision.

Static setting persistence

Can the controller be set to use the static setting (ie. lights always steady on) by default? If I use a mains socket timer can the controller be set to always be set to persistent static, or do you have to change to static mode every time? The multi-function lights I have bought from B&Q recently all default to chasing/flashing and you have to set to static every time they are powered on, which isn't what I'm after.

All our lights have a memory control unit with them, meaning whatever function you leave the lights on before you switch them off they will stay on this function when switched back on.

outdoor transformer

Can you get an outdoor 24v transformer with no controller

ANSWERS

We do not currently supply an outdoor (transformer only) version of the power pack, however the controller supplied with the power pack has a static function. We advise customers who wish to connect lights outside to look at our DRIBOX connection box. Search FL-1859 in the search bar.
