Connectable Lighting is fast becoming a leading product range in the Christmas and Festive lighting market. The extendable lights work on a very simple theory and in many ways have no limits to how impressive your display can be. The lights are connected by a very simple two pin ‘push in’ connector that screws together to form a water tight seal. The main advantage of connectable lights over standard string lights is that you do not need more plugs if you want more lights.

1. Power source (starter pack/lead cable): This must be purchased first to power the lights.

2. Length and colour of lights: The light strings can usually be purchased in 5m, 6m or 10 metre lengths that can be connected together to your desired length all from one plug! Up to 8 colours are available and can be mixed together to make a unique display.

3. Accessories: A connectable lights system has many different accessories to make installation easier and to create more unique displays. They include extension leads to reach further away from a mains socket, curtain section that allows you to create curtain lights to all different sizes and ‘y’ connectors to make two separate strings from one power source.

Low Voltage Connectable Lighting

One main advantage of this system is that it is powered by a 24v transformer that makes this lighting solution ultra safe in public areas, inside homes/buildings, around children and pets. The second feature is the 8 function control unit which comes supplied with the 24v transformer, this enables the light set to flash, twinkle, chase etc as well as the normal static setting. The controller features an advanced memory chip that stores the function you last set and keeps it for when the light set is next turned on. This is ideal when the lights are connected to a timer unit. This system is made to a high standard using ultra bright LED’s and can be used indoor or outdoor. The fact that these lights are new LED lamps they use up to 90% less energy in comparison to regular Christmas lights. As above there are many accessories available to customise your display. 230v Connectable Lighting

The main advantage with this system is the commercial quality in which they are made. The lights have a strong and weather resistant rubber cable with specially sealed lamps that prevent any water ingression so are suitable for prolonged outdoor use. The ideal locations for these lights are town centres, offices, retail stores, businesses, pubs, hotels, restaurants and also the home and garden. The fact that these lights are new LED lamps they use up to 90% less energy compared to regular Festive lights. As above there are many accessories available to customise your display.
