In Britain that means sleet, snow, summer sun, and a whole lot of rain at any and every time of year. Weatherproofing is an absolute must for anything to be used in our gardens. For that reason we choose our lights carefully. Durability is always a concern even for lights that will only be up for special occasions. There is another advantage to choosing tough solar garden lights that have all their electrical components safely sealed away. The more self-contained a unit is, the easier it is to install. Sometimes our options are so simple to install that all you need to do is place them beside the garden path, or push the stake into the lawn. All the electronics is protected and you don't need to spare a second thought about it. Some of our products include a dusk til dawn sensor, so the lights will automatically switch on when it gets dark and off at when it gets light again. There is no need to switch them off and on every morning and evening. Sealed units are safe for kids too. Although children are often fascinated by things like solar powered fairy lights when they are first installed and might want to touch them or play with them, there need be no cables and no exposed wiring so safety risks are brought to an absolute minimum.
