Paint Your Garden with Underwater Lighting19th Aug @ 15:50 Outdoor lights come in all shapes and sizes, and today’s news update is going to be all about how you can add magnificent tones to your garden by focussing underwater and garden lighting on your pond or water feature.Compact Garden/Small Pond No matter how small your garden area and water feature are, you can still make a great impact. In fact, a small space can often be easier to cover in stunning reflected light patterns. Underwater spot lights may be a little on the intense side, so opt for underwater solar path lights both in and out of the water. Compact Garden/Large Water Feature At the risk of annoying your neighbours, you can have a little fun with underwater spot lights. Go for something subtle though and perhaps avoid very bright white light; blues and greens are ideal. Large Garden/Small Pond A small water feature in a large garden can be easily drowned! Surface skimming side lights that cover both the surface of the pond and the surrounding area can create some stunning beams. And don’t forget to include underwater path lights in glittering rainbow hues. Large Garden/Large Water Feature Perhaps the luckiest of all, but it can be tough to pull-off a lighting concept that isn’t too “Las Vegas”! Less is always more in this case; a subtle surface skimming spot combined with understated glow can look wonderfully ambient without coming off too much like the fountains of the Bellagio!
