Whether it’s a particular room or the whole house, we often feel a spring makeover is necessary.The recession has left most of us with a lesson less spare cash in our pockets than we’d like, so a fresh three piece suite in the living room may not be on the priority list. Luckily, though, there are ways of giving your home a new look without spending thousands of pounds. Indoor lighting can really help add some sparkle to any room. Whether it’s fairy lights, strip lighting or LED candles, it can make a big change to any room: Sitting room Having some fairy lights draped or put in and around your house plants will look lovely, as well as having LED candles on the mantelpiece or the windowsill. These will both be great for providing ambient lighting when watching a film or listening to music. Bedroom Rope lights and fairy lights can look great around the ceiling or around picture frames.
