Why would you use solar stakes in your garden?29th Apr @ 12:25 Gardens can look much more stylish with solar stakes. They can provide an aesthetic quality, as well as a practical use, and so prove very popular in modern homes.Solar stakes are usually used to provide a guide on which to lead you past or down the garden. They are often placed on edges, e.g. where the lawn meets the drive, where the path meets the lawn, where the flower bed meets the pond etc. This can help navigating your garden in the dark, and will be particularly useful if the ground is wet. This way neither you nor any guests will find themselves accidentally losing their show in a very muddy flowerbed whilst walking along a gravel path. They can also be very attractive garden lights, because they provide subtle lighting that will brighten a small section of the garden. This works instead of having a larger light which can sometimes seem oppressive or too bright in the dark. Another benefit is that they are self powered (with an internal battery and a solar panel attached) so they can be as close or as far apart from each other as you like. They don’t need to be connected in any way, so you can have them spread out sporadically over your lawn if you like. Categorised in: Solar Lights |
