Using Halloween lights - 4 different Halloween themes

29th Sep @ 09:38 Halloween parties are all about the scary Halloween themes and this can be achieved using Halloween lights and decorations. The right theme can lift up the moods of a party crowd instantly.

There are many Halloween themes that can be used to make the settings perfect. Some of the themes are:

Twilight theme

Twilight theme is all about the story of vampires against werewolves. This theme has become popular in the recent times due to the books published and movies released of the same name. Many people now use Twilight as their theme for Halloween parties. Dim lighting, gold body shimmer and red punch drinks are the essentials of a Twilight-themed Halloween party.

Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland theme has become popular with the Tim Burton movie that was released earlier in the year. Weird shaped objects, unusually shaped objects and black Halloween lights along with a mad hatter cake are great effects for this themed Halloween party. This theme can be tweaked in many ways and the possibilities are many. Guests can come in classic Wonderland character attire and the venue can be decorated using painted roses and red and white playing cards. Food and drinks have ‘eat me’ and ‘drink me’ written all over them.

Cartoon characters

This theme involves asking party guests to come dressed as their favourite cartoon characters, making this perfect for younger kids’ parties. Many kids might prefer to dress up as Sponge Bob while others may choose to dress as The Smurfs – the choice is huge. The party venue can be decorated using cartoon themed Halloween lights, bits and pieces from different cartoon series, themed activity stations like bobbing for barnacles and solving quizzes and riddles with Scooby Doo.

Traditional

A common Halloween theme is a traditional horror theme. Using gravestones, bats, spiders, skeletons and spooky Halloween lights, the party look can be designed creatively. Everyone can come dressed as their favourite horror monster or villain.
