Try rechargeable LED tea lights to bring some ambience to your home

22nd Apr @ 17:28 Lots of people like candles, but are nervous about leaving them on in case of a fire, or are wary of burning themselves on the flame.

A great alternative is a pack of LED tealights. They have an orangey flickering LEDs to emulate a flame, but no molten wax and no naked flame so is not a fire or health risk.

This way you can have your bedroom or front room lit only be tea lights, but not have to worry about setting of the smoke alarm or burning the house down.

The only place that LEDs may not be as safe as wax candles is in the bathroom. Lots of people like to have a bath with some relaxing music on and tealights around, but if you use LED tea lights they are run on batteries and so are using electricity, which is not such a good idea around water.

LED tea lights are brilliant if you are setting up a romantic dinner or a nice cosy evening in front of a film, because you can put them on tables, windowsills, the mantelpiece, even on the floor if you’re careful. You won’t have to worry when you go to the kitchen or toilet either, as they shouldn’t be a danger.
