LED tea lights offer a safe, risk-free alternative to candles17th May @ 08:14 There is something special about having a room lit with candles, but – for many of us – it then means we are panicking that all of a sudden something will catch fire and then the house will burn down. Fortunately for those, there are such things like LED tea lights.LED tea lights offer the same orangey flickering light that traditional candles do, but they will not set fire to any passing pieces of paper. Because they are made of LEDs, 90% of their energy is given off as light. This means that it will not get hot to the touch unless left on for a particularly extended length of time. This, in itself, means that they can give you more freedom than conventional tea lights as they can be placed on almost any surface without posing any kind of fire risk. They can also be left unattended for short periods, which should never be done with naked flames. These tea lights come in sets of six or twelve and can be bought battery powered or rechargeable. Rechargeable give you the option of recharging some whilst using the others, so you can have an almost constant supply of candle-light. Categorised in: Buying Guides |
