They provide about the same amount of light, they have a flickering orange glow like a flame, but don’t have any of the safety hazards of a naked flame.If you have already been converted to the joys of these battery powered tea lights, then you’ll be pleased to know that they are becoming more and more available in larger packs. Rather than only being able to get them in packs of six, you can now find them in packs of up to twenty. It’ll be better value for money, and means your entire romantic dinner with your partner can be candle-lit. Well, almost. LED-candle-lit. Some of these LED tea lights are rechargeable, with a docking station, whereas others have individual betters inside the base. Either way, they don’t have to be plugged in, nor do they need to be in a well ventilated room (for the smoke on a wax candle), and they can be left unattended while you pop back into the kitchen for another bottle of bubbly. These little candles are great for birthday parties, relaxing in the bath (although don’t put them on the edge or the bath or sink – they are electric items, and must not come into contact with water.) or just curling up in front of a film for some soft ambient light.
