LED strip lights are usually sold in short strips that can be anything from 5cm to 50cm long. These strips fit together to create a seamless join and mean that you shouldn’t be left with excess lights.You can also clip different coloured strips of lights together, to create a sectioned look to the room. This can be particularly stylish in a kitchen where all of the units have the same fascias, including dishwashers and fridge/freezers. Strip lights are very popular in the kitchen as they can look really stylish when put underneath the edges of units, either at floor level or on head height units. You could have blue right the way round the kitchen, but yellow or green where the dishwasher/fridge is, to make it easier to remember which unit is different. Strip lighting will also look very modern if set along a mantelpiece or windowsill, providing ambient light for evenings in the living room.
