They can mean that you have a sparkling ornament on the mantelpiece, a glowing wall decoration, or a curtain of lights along your back wall.Standard fairy lights are like Christmas light strings. They are connected together at one end and are made as a big loop. You can have these so all the bulbs are one colour, or there are a mixture. These fairy lights can be wound around plants, lamps, pictures and shelves or can be laid along a shelf or other length of space. Fairy lights come so that the light is static, flickering, twinkling or even so it looks like they are chasing each other. LED battery lights – particularly fairy lights – are great for using in spaces not near a plug socket. This is perfect for using them for ornamental reasons as the wires will be safely tucked away and won’t pose a tripping hazard.
