Decorating Your Christmas Trees The Simple Way10th May @ 09:37 Christmas is arguably the most stressful time of the year, and with presents to buy, and food to prepare it is easy to get snowed under; therefore, when it comes time to decorate the Christmas tree it can feel like one chore too many. Luckily, however, decorating artificial Christmas trees doesn't have to be a logistical nightmare, and instead the most simply decorated trees are often the most effective. So how do you decorate artificial Christmas trees simply but effectively? Well, there are several ways to do this, but essentially the key is to use your Christmas decorations sparingly, and in some cases even not at all. Whilst a Christmas tree will often benefit from minimal decoration, it is still a good idea to include the basic Christmas tree accoutrements. Essentially, this means Christmas baubles and lights, which can be used to create a subtle as well as a bold effect – if you are dressing your tree to minimalist standards it is probably a good idea to opt for Christmas baubles and lights that are all the same colour, as otherwise things can start to look a little confused. The next step is to accessorise your tree. Remember – if your tree carries a few different colours of lights or baubles you should opt for a lesser amount of Christmas tree decorations as this may overpower the your Christmas tree decor. If you really want to make a minimalist statement of course you could leave the decorations off altogether.
