FESTIVE LIGHTS SUPPORTS SCARECROW FESTIVAL 200905th Sep @ 12:22 We at Festive Lights are excited to support the 4th annual Scarecrow Festival in Charnock Richard, near Chorley. Looking back on last year’s performances everyone is expecting many more fantastic Scarecrows throughout the village. The village people have been improving and researching different designs, now using led fairy lights to take it to the next level especially at nightime.Scarecrow Festivals are becoming very popular all over the country, bringing towns and villages together in good spirit. Some of the scarecrow designs from last year include x-factor judges, horses and car mechanics and best of all they are free to make. The scarecrows will be on display starting on Friday the 4th of September and finishing on Sunday the 6th of September. Over the weekend there will be many exciting events planned including games, face painting, dancing and a brass band. Refreshments will be served everyday at the school, old school and scout headquarters and free parking will be available in front of the church. Again from all at Festive Lights we hope everyone has a wonderful time and enjoys the displays. If you live in the local area come along as it is great day out for all ages. I was so thrilled to see the fantastic team at festive lights were supporting the scarecrow festival. I recently made a scarecrow myself and im sure your lights would enhance its appearance no end!
