Product Description
Brand new 100 White Outdoor LED Battery Operated party string Lights.
Brand new to the market... this set features bright white LED bulbs on a 10 metre green cable, waterproof battery box, twinkle/steady setting and a timer function.
Ideal for outdoor trees, bushes, hedges, decking and for all events: including bbq's, weddings, Christmas, parties and festivals. We almost forgot...of course you can use them indoor as well!
The plastic battery pack is both robust and waterproof ensuring the batteries, function switch and timer survive all that the British weather can throw at it.
The timer function
When the lights are set to the timer function via a switch on the battery box they will stay lit for 6 hours. After being lit for 6 hours they will turn off for the next 18 hours and then come on again. This is brilliant for two reasons, firstly it saves you having to remember to switch your beautiful lights on/off every night and secondly it conserves the battery life.
Batteries
The battery lights take 3 x ‘D’ type batteries (not included) Heres the good bit...with good batteries the lights will stay lit up to a massive 300 hours which is approximately 50 days! (based on 6 hours per day on the twinkling setting)
So to sum up... you can have the ultra bright led lights you’ve always wanted but with no need for an outdoor socket and as a bonus you can have them twinkling and set on a timer function. Simple

Product not yet used (decoration for a May hog roast tent) but appears sturdy and a plain simple design. Delivery was speedy and service excellent.

Twinkletastic!!
I ordered these lights for my 50th Birthday party in February 2012 and they were amazingly bright, 1st class service and delivery. I'd definately buy from this site again. Brilliant value too !!

Sceptical but .... WOW!
I did think that battery powered fairy lights might be one of those things that was better in theory than practice but not so!
Thre lights are dazzlingly bright and I have had them up for 10 days now and I am still on the first set of batteries (they take 3 x D size batteries).
They are well constructed - everything feels sturdy and good quality - and I especially like the little hooks oneach light that enables you to attach the lights to branches etc if you wish.
The timer function is brilliant too because you don't have to remember to switch them on and off.
The only slight downside is that there are no instructions in the box with them.
In all honesty. my favourite purchase of 2011!!
